April Answers

For the month of April my post it notes asked me to ponder my word from a new angle or perspective. Then I took the variation of questions; what does gratitude really mean to me? to my journal page. Next, I pulled excerpts and used Publisher to add them to photos I’d shot of the beach. I like the composition on most and mounted them with thick foam tape so they were raised off the page. I think Photoshop will allow (eventually) for greater creativity but am pleased with the simple, clean results of Publisher.

I also used an image I’d chosen from a journal class of a whimsical tree-man who absolutely oozes gratitude and placed him on the April cover page. I tore up the post notes and arranged them in a pile on the back of the cover page.

This was an engaging prompt and I thoroughly enjoyed the creativity! Thanks for walking along with me and my one little word!

Every step in this required thought, musing and getting to the point. Congratulations. And, the pop-dots? Fantastic idea!

  2. Thanks, K! I’m really finding my way with the digital angle and AOK at how different mine looks from Ali’s, lol!
