Greetings! Honoré here on the day after our big storm on the east coast and in Washington DC. Even though we were snowed in – we got about 6-8 inches in my part of town; areas more north and west , anywhere from 10-18 inches – we survived the storm quite easily:
- Numero Uno: no power loss! I was most concerned and relieved.
- Secondly, we had good food – I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup – just perfect for a snowy day.
- Third, lots to keep me occupied: stitching; scrapping; reading; a television break or two. All in all, just a nice down day!
Today, we are returning to normal and Mother Nature’s doing her thing: the sun’s shining and the snow is melting and it’s warmer, 37 degrees, highs: low 40s. Not bad.
Just wanted to pop in to update, say hello and send you lots of Vugs and kisses. Happy Valentine’s Day!
