Honoré here: Among stampers, scrappers, quilters and other artisans is an internet meme: What’s On your Workdesk Wednesday, started by Julia of Stamping-Ground. Today, Wednesday 4/24/2013 marks the meme’s 203rd week.
Always on my workdeskS <—-note the plural—> are numerous projects offering me a variety of choices (aka as various states of undone/to do). And these workdesks/projects are in several rooms of my house: my sewing and craft studios, the Great Room with the TV; the second floor landing; etc. My biggest hurdle is deciding what to do!
I remember that one of my most favorite childhood books had a similar title of what to do next? Well, I decided that today my what to do next? would include posting to this blog since I have really been too silent. And also on my list:
- Install Photoshop Elements 10. I am taking a Big Picture Class: Clean & Simple, The Workshop taught by Cathy Zielske. The class is on creating hybrid scrapbook pages using PSE and tomorrow is the fourth week. Kinda hard to do the weekly challenges without the software…you think? (Though registration is now closed, this link gives you a great overview of the class. Cathy’s classes are rad and she has several self-paced available plus features all sorts of tutorials on her blog; check her out.)
- Trim Project Life photos. I spent a goodly portion of yesterday printing and trimming photos – I have just a few more to do. Then I can begin the journaling process and possibly finish before I leave for a week of quilting in Oregon…
- Take a L-O-N-G walk. Technically, this isn’t on my workdesk but it is on my ToDo list for today. We’ve had an iffy spring…still on the coolish side but today promises to be in the mid ’70s and the sun is shining and the dogwood trees are in bloom and I’m planning to take advantage of the weather.
So, there, you have it and now, it’s time for me to get a move on. Have a great Wednesday…and I hope you get to some of the fun items on your workdesk, too.
Cheers~
I was recently introduced to my Spirit Guide…a beaver…point taken, right?
How is that list coming along?
