Falling for Fall

Believe it or not before the autumn of 1984 this twenty year old island girl had never seen the leaves turn golden and orange.

Mom and I drove to Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Georgia and I fell in love with fall weather and captured these photos with my 35mm Brownie camera.

“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.” ~George Eliot
